HPE Discover 2026 was a big success and we were there, front row! An event where we, as a long-running and leading HPE partner, get to see if we are, where we should be. We are! And together with HPE we are ready to take the next step, says our team of participating specialists. “The agenda is ready. The products are ready. We are ready”.

From Building to Acting

“We stand really strong in terms of being ready to help our clients into a new reality, where AI contributes directly to operating your IT-infrastructure”, says Tine Sonne, Vice President, Hybrid Solutions in Danoffice IT, just returned from HPE Discover 2026 with a really good gut feeling. “Now things get concrete”, she says. “The agenda is ready, the products are ready, we are ready. Now HPE – and we – leave the building phase and enter a pronounced operative phase. We have all, including HPE themselves, been running fast to get here and to get on track with the AI-wave. But now we are in a position where we are not only on track, but where we are in the front of defining AI workloads which make a difference for our clients”.

The Agents Are Coming – And We Are Ready!

The AI development is running so fast that no one jumps the train, just like that. It takes solid preparation and deep insight. HPE today positions themselves in the front of the development of the IT-infrastructure of the future, being able to operate and act as a platform for AI. “As my colleague, Niels Vejrup Pedersen, said in his report from Discover 2026, Agentic Enterprise was all over the place”, says Tine Sonne and continues: “Both Antonio Nero and Fidelma Russo said that it is all about getting the AI-agents to do the tasks inside our infrastructure”. A statement which to an extreme degree obliges HPE partners all over the World to act up, and Tine Sonne makes sure, that we are ready.

“Now we are talking operational AI. Now we begin to see that we can use all these data to drive business. We are ready to act because of three central elements: Our strong partnership with HPE, our datacenter knowledge – and our AI-knowledge. Three elements which make us able to help our clients worldwide on the further AI- journey and in their development in general”.

New Ways For Pharma?

An obvious potential, according to Tine Sonne, is the meeting of HPE’s current developments and Danoffice IT’s strategic efforts in the Pharma sector. “With these technologies we can build the bridge directly to your datacenter – especially relevant for the pharma sector”, she says. Tine’s colleague, Christian Rosenkilde Rode, Senior Sales Executive, Pharma Industry in Danoffice IT, agrees. “Our developments for the pharma industry have reached a whole new level, and many of HPE’s newest technologies have already been taken into use by our clients. At Discover 2026 there is also an entire area dedicated solely to highly regulated industries, where you can experience the technologies in effect hands-on”.

“When regulations are tight it takes extreme security, and here HPE has targeted their technologies to meet these demands. An example, which I experienced in the big EXPO area, was their new Private Cloud platform, PC7000, which will now be launched in an air-gapped edition. This means that a hospital – or a production facility – can operate cloud solution and AI-agents without having to expose their critical infrastructure to the internet.”

A New Reality?

The development presented by HPE at Discover 2026 is a clear follow-up on last year’s event. Tine, however, emphasizes that we are not just talking minor adjustments on the surface. “It is an incredibly thorough development. It does not stop with Agentic Enterprise. Also, the entire hyperviser-part with Morpheus 9 was launched – and we already know that we will be using it in our platform”, she says and continues. “The Greenlake-field, where we in Danoffice IT were among the first in Europe to build very large installations, was also at play. Greenlake is now being expanded so that it will become a platform for even the biggest of enterprise companies in their AI-development – called, Greenlake Flex”.

Tine recons that there is a lot to keep up with for the clients. Not just technologically, but also financially, where a new reality has made its entry. “Today we work with cost per token. A new cost-structure, and this will be one of the many things we will be helping our clients with now. Help them on how to administer workloads in this new economy”, Tine Sonne says.

All Aligned

In Danoffice IT we have made our intense preparations with some heavy launches where our DOIT Cloud in particular stands out. “At Discover it was nice to see that the many strategic initiatives we have made in Danoffice IT are all aligned with HPE’s initiatives – they are closely linked”, Tine says and adds: “Our DOIT Cloud is based on HPE’s Private Cloud technology, and this is our big launch. Next is our investment in HPE’s PCAI-kits where we are offering our clients secure and AI-ready cloud-solutions. And finally, we have our competencies on Greenlake. This means that now, we are “not only” able to operate on Enterprise level, but also with smaller companies”.

The Network Plays The Leading Role

The good network does not just keep us connected – it is the key to unlocking the use of AI. ”The network plays the leading role at Discover. It has become the core in HPE’s business. We have seen a shift where the compute- and datacenter-fields have been assigned to second row”, says Christian Rosenkilde Rode and continues: “The concept of self-driving networks is central, and in the EXPO we witnessed how their new network is built into their entire automation-play. The network fixes itself if there is an issue and has AI-agents built into all solutions”.

Tine agrees and adds: “The network is the most important layer. We must help our clients on this journey. We must help them see how they can exploit all these resources which will be freed up. One of the places, where we are at work in linking HPE’s network technology with cutting-edge AI-solutions, is in our Pharma Team”, concludes Tine Sonne, Vice President, Hybrid Solutions in Danoffice IT.
