AI is everywhere – and the pace of the development exceeds earlier times’ big waves and present-day predictions. The technological realities take over themselves – but so do the geo- and safety-political realities. We therefore see a significant movement towards taking home our AI and cloud-solutions. We want to be in control of our data-security. Vi want to be in control of the costs. We want to be in control of our AI.
Choose a sovereign solution!
“Some organizations have just started using ChatGPT, while others have replaced 80% of their operations with AI”, says Leif Elgaard Høj, Director, Innovation & Emerging Technologies in Danoffice IT. His statement testifies to a large gap in AI-readiness and to a new fast lane in the development. In Danoffice IT we have been on track with the AI-development from the start, and thus we stand on a platform which is in the very front on the race. “The conversation the last year and a half has changes fundamentally because of global geopolitics. In order to keep up, it has been necessary for the IT-industry to opt in on the whole concept of sovereignty. From just talking about data, cloud and AI to then talking about sovereign data. Then about sovereign cloud – and now also about sovereign AI”, Leif Elgaard Høj says.
No, this not a heavy technical thesis on AI-solution. Instead, we wish to share with you why and how the AI-solutions of the future are in fact, to the very core, sovereign. This means that as an organization you will have all the possibilities with your AI-tools, but now everything is all yours alone: Your data, your cloud, and your AI. The solution is even located on your physical address. This sovereignty means that you will have full control over both security and costs. The rest is all progress and growth.
Private Cloud for AI – what is it?
Behind the letters, PCAI, we have Private Cloud for AI. Most are familiar with the concept of a cloud-solution: We have some data which we save in what we just call the cloud. Where our data are, however, we do not really know, but we can access them, and it is efficient. This the characteristics of a so-called, public cloud. It is easy, but security is somewhat “up in the air”. No joke. Add to that the challenges of controlling the costs.
The closest we get to the opposite of a public cloud, is a so-called on-premises datacenter. A local, physical datacenter. Until recently some would label this “the old model”, but due to the new World-order, the old on-premises-solution is as hot as ever – due to concerns over our data. The reason: With an on-prem-solution we can build a private cloud-solution. With this your organization will have all the benefits known from a public cloud, but now the cloud is yours alone.
The newest addition to that is AI. And since AI builds on cloud-solutions then the approach is the same: If you use public AI in your operation, then you are vulnerable. Therefore, we are offering the strongest possible Private Cloud for AI-solution to our clients.
Growth with Private AI
In Danoffice IT we, obviously, have our own PCAI-solution. ”It is well-known that we have en extended partnership with HPE, who has placed themselves in the front in the field of technologies for driving Private Cloud and PCAI”, says Leif and adds:
”We can offer 100 % tailored solutions, which meet the challenges that everyone is facing right now. With full cloud- and AI-functionality, but where our clients will still maintain full data integrity and security. It is offered as a turn-key solution which can grow and evolve according to the organization’s needs”.
Book your DOIT-specialist with AI
We are taking our own AI-medicine in Danoffice IT. Thus, we have developed a PCAI-true solution called Booking System Insight, Leif shares: “We have a large team of consultants. Highly skilled specialists who are being booked for many different tasks. Along the way they develop their competencies and specialties, which can be very specific and niche. Therefore, on our own PCAI, we have stored all possible data on our consultants’ skills. So, when a client creates a request, it used to be a heavy, manual task to find the right specialist for the job. But now our AI makes an exact match on the spot”, he says. Having a fully intelligent and automized booking system can be transferred to many other industries and types of organizations and companies – from the small logistics company to enterprise service-providers. “No data leaves the company, and the efficiency and accuracy are top-level”, Leif states.
“Today we have an AI Governance Board. This emphasized that the onboarding – the anchoring – of this technology covers our whole organization – management includes. We run out own PCAI where everything is stored, including our own DOIT GPT. Security and value is sublime”.

Insight makes way for growth
The development of our Booking System Insight is all about insight in data. But insight can be used or many things. “Our clients are the very center of what we do. It is about safety, high quality, and fast service. And we can deliver this with the booking-solution. Also, it helps us improve our own operations because of the resources that are freed up from the manual booking-tasks. These resources can now help our clients even better”, Leif says and continues: “Our Booking System Insight is not only for ourselves – we are fully able to build similar solutions to all kinds of organizations, companies and industries. We have the expertise and experience for it”.
In charge of the costs
According to Leif, cost and security are the primary drivers in the Private Cloud for AI-field. ”The benefits from owing and driving things on your own are substantial. In the public AI-world the services are charged by subscriptions or by so-called tokens, which run at a certain amount of Dollars each. This can run out of hand quickly”, he says. “Another isolated advantage of our Booking System Insight is that we do not need to hire people to operate our bookings and tasks. Things that used to take months, now take days. Things that used to take days, now take hours. And, since time is money then the business case is pretty solid”. There is, however, an important point when talking about the human resources: “Remember that the human is still very important. The specialist is important – especially in implementing AI in organizations. The first 80-90 % are fast with AI – the last 10-20 % are all human. It takes heavy competencies, and even though things run fast right now, then the human factor is still the key to succeed with AI”, concludes Leif Elgaard Høj, Director, Innovation & Emerging Technologies i Danoffice IT.
