Big and long-awaited news

A new major player on the network scene has arrived. A collaboration which potential and reach far exceeds anything the industry has seen in years. Our preferred partner for network solutions, HPE Aruba Networking now joins forces with Juniper Network, a big player in the industry in their own right. Big new for us, for our industry – and for our clients, says expert.

Welcome to a new World

“We have waited a long time for this to become reality”, states network specialist and Senior Solutions Manager in Danoffice IT, Jacob Vittrup. ”They have prepared thoroughly for this, and now we face a new World in the network industry. An even broader portfolio of products in the same house, which means that we can now build even bigger and wilder solutions than before. Now we can go places, where Aruba traditionally did not go. This will result in some major advantages for the clients”, says Jacob and adds. “As I view it, HPE and Juniper will, expectedly, move forward towards creating a unified entity. We still do not have the full overview of the jointed portfolio, but the synergies from this collaboration are already lined up”.

Incredibly annoying for competitors

The AI-journey for all of HPE – and the rest of the network industry – is of high priority. “Aruba, today, has a really strong AI-message, and then Juniper comes into the picture with a really strong AI-product. I believe the linkage between these two worlds will be truly exceptional. We can expect something big”, Jacob Vittrup says and continues: “Aruba has this very clear mantra; AI for Network – Network for AI. It takes heavy equipment to create these AI-motors, and here Juniper enters the building with an even heavier setup. They have traditionally been a leading service provider on this field, and they have heavy back-bone-technology far ahead of everyone else’s. And now they are here! So, the new total AI-scope, plus the hardware-engine, which Juniper brings in, creates a new platform, which will be incredibly annoying for competitors in the market”, he says.

Stronger security – fulfilled full-stack

In Danoffice IT, security is part of everything we do. Thus, it is also a sharp focus for us, when our partners announce big news, and in this round, it is good news. “With juniper as a part of HPE we also get a security player – with an impressive security platform”, says Jacob Vittrup. However, looking at the news in a broader perspective then the totality of things should be in the spotlight, according to Jacob. “Boiling this down to one message then it is about this full-

stack approach. A journey, which HPE has started long ago, and with Juniper in the picture, the shelves will now be filled with the most cutting-edge technology available at all”.

A central question for us – and thereby also for our clients – is; what does this mean for us? It means quite a lot, tells Jacob: “It means that our preferred partner, with whom we are very close, now gives us even more opportunities. What we can offer, now becomes bigger and better”, he says and adds: “Viewed from our house, this is big news, and now we must develop a whole new track with new tools and competencies. This is big, because it gives us a whole new development track and new possibilities to enhance our consultancy business. We have some very skilled people, who are not afraid to take on a challenge”.

The future awaits

The fact that we do not yet see the full picture of the collaboration between HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper Networks, only makes the future more exciting, Jacob says. “This is two very big companies becoming one, so it is a pure network giant – and this is without a doubt an advantage. But, as stated, we still have a lot to see, and a lot of the new things in HPE and Juniper, well, we expect to see these at HPE Discover this December. We are many people that are very excited for that, because then it all will become even more real”. He also makes it clear, that the challenge is accepted: “We are many people in Danoffice It with heavy experience on Juniper, so we are more than ready to get to work”, concludes, Jacob Vittrup, Senior Solutions Manager in Danoffice IT.
