Each year HPE gathers thorough thinkers and sharp specialists from all over the World at their Tech Jams. At this exclusive invite-only event the very front of the development is being dissected, curated, and served for HPE’s partners. Knowledge which must create progress, and the Danoffice IT-delegation is ready to bring it home. Here you have the hottest headlines from the event.

Innovation at Full Throttle

When HPE asks its partners to participate, it then underlines the seriousness of the matter. Monday kicked off hard by serving insights on future launches and road maps – on technology and products of tomorrow. Our own Niels Vejrup Pedersen, Tech Lead in Danoffice IT, and Tejs Evers, Senior Datacenter Consultant, were in the front row.

“If you were excited, then you did not walk away disappointed. HPE, who is already in the front of the development on infrastructure for AI and Hybrid IT, will continue to push things and to add pressure to the movement. A new era awaits us soon”, Niels Vejrup Pedersen says.

“HPE are at full throttle on the thought of being the provider of cloud technology. Not “just” cloud, but also all technology on which the solutions build upon – both software and hardware. There are still innovation and new releases – and everything must follow HPE’s new Cloud Operations Model with shift from a classis user focus to a focus on experience”.

Cloud, AI and Networking Shape the New Tech Era

The three main headlines of the week were, however, well-known. Fully in line with HPE Discover 2025. The three main focuses at this week’s Tech Jam were AI, Cloud and Networking – and just as simple and familiar as it might sound, then it is just as much a proof of a concentration in the development and the merging of technologies. As no surprise, AI are stealing headlines. “At Tech Jam 2026 HPE did not try to hide the fact that we are in the midst of The AI Gold Rush. It may be self-explanatory – but AI continues to have big momentum, and the expectations to the market are enormous”, Niels says.

Prove It Works!

HPE has not only embraced AI over the past years but also claimed the position as the industry’s driver of the platform and infrastructure, which AI-driven organizations will stand upon in the future. Says Niels: “At Al Amin’s keynote, entitled AI Strategy, it was clear that we are now entering a new phase”, he states and elaborates: “We have spent 2025 on Prove It Works, and in 2026 the headline changes to Prove It Scales. This underlines an all-new operative approach”.

When technology must be scalable then it is, obviously, with business in mind, Niels tells. “We will be seeing an increased focus on industrial verticals, which is much in line with how we ourselves work in Danoffice IT. Manufacturing, financials, and life science, are fields where HPE will now boost the efforts”.

Sovereignty – Now Also on AI

The last year HPE has worked intensively on meeting the demands on data security as a consequence of the global geopolitical situation. Sovereignty entered the scene as the high jumper on the list of hot terms in our industry. Or, critical terms, that is. Data Sovereignty and Sovereign Cloud, just to name a few.

But with AI taking off in the fast lane, we now see the Sovereignty-tendency hitting that track as well. “A hot topic at Tech Jam was Sovereign AI. How can we exploit this technology without compromising data and security? In a near future, we must imagine that we are able to choose local service providers on AI-solutions – local, just like ourselves in Danoffice IT”.

In the same sentence as we write geopolitics and Data Sovereignty, we also write security. “Security 2.0 will become a term we all will get to know in 2026. There will be new standards, and here HPE will continue to lead the race on the safest server. We will become more familiar with quantum security, than we are today”.

Datacenter Momentum!

After the acquisition of Juniper, the industry’s eyes have been pointed at HPE. Already in 2025, the ambition for a shared future for these two giants was coined with the motto, Network for AI – AI for Networking. A motto which is very much present at Tech Jam 2026. Says Tejs Evers: “On the network agenda HPE is showcasing to significant tracks. One being, Control The Future Of On-Prem, emphasizing HPE’s ambition on leading the datacenter field, but also that the clients must be able to stay in control – no matter if AI or geopolitics are on the table”.

Tejs also underlines that On-Prem in particular is still a hot topic. “The next track is Datacenter Momentum. This confirms that there are still being invested heavily in the datacenter. It must be modern and self-operative”.

Enhanced Data and Self-Driven Networks

Tejs Evers says, that the network track at Tech Jam also focused on the exploitation of our data. “HPE says, we want to enhance the data we have. This is about everything we add to data. We want to offer the best hardware with the best intelligence with the ambition to create value”, he states and continues: “Everyone is talking about intelligent networks, and from the stage HPE approached the myth on self-driving cars. How do we get to self-driven cars? The technology is there, but we are just not there yet. So, how do we get to self-driven networks? That is the next question. When a player like HPE even brings this up, then it is because they can actually see it in the horizon. We are on track”.

Networking Enters a New Era of AI‑Driven Automation

Things are moving fast – and this is being emphasized at Tech Jam. “Looking back ten years, it was sufficient that the green lights were on. This meant, that we were up and operating. Today, we are given tools we did not know that we needed – technology has become smart, and we have gained insight. And, with all the possibilities with AI, then the demands go up, too. Data has exploded – all ancient theories on data-accumulation has breached. The needs and the demands explode as well. It is a bit of a joke in the industry, but it is a saying that what you needed yesterday, you must multiply by π today. It is a bit far-fetched, but at Tech Jam, we see, that it certainly has some truth to it”, concludes Niels Vejrup Pedersen, Tech Lead, Danoffice IT.

”Everybody wants something that is easy. Everybody wants something which fits together on its own. Thus, network is ALL about automation and AI. We want to make justified decisions, and we want to know how our users are doing. And here, HPE has taken the lead. With Juniper on board, there are no one who can match what they are offering technologically”.
