Our network is much more than just a fine mesh of connections creating transactions and contact between people.
Almost all data and information in a company will eventually pass through the network – and thus, it holds a large potential for development and growth. If you succeed in taking advantage of the knowledge it holds, that is. But, it is even humanly possible, or is artificial help required?

Home sweet home?
Before elaborating further on how AI-solutions can make a difference in modern network administration, we need to look at the characteristics of the traffic taking place. From where to where does it run? Is the journey safe? Are we shipping dangerous or sensitive goods?
“Why does it make sense talking about private cloud when talking network and AI? It does, because a lot of the data, we send, we do not wish to share with others. In general, the closer we get to the production line, the bigger the need for protecting data”, says Leif Elgaard Høj. ”Our network traffic partly derives from information from private devices, and we don’t want to expose this information, and therefore we now see HPE leading the field of private cloud solutions. With all the benefits from public cloud, but with a different level of security”.
Years back, HPE introduced their take on an alternative to public cloud with their Greenlake platform. Now, together with Nvidia, they have taken this development to the next level with the launch of their HPE Private Cloud AI. In the context of the fact that IT-security today is also a geopolitical discipline, then the whole discussion on private vs public cloud is hotter than ever.
And with AI in the picture, it is on fire. “For many years we saw a wave of companies rushing into the cloud, with relatively little care – and years later a lot of these are now in a hurry redeeming their return tickets”, says Leif, who also underlines that this very aspect is central to the AI-development, and why HPE has placed themselves in the front of this field.
”They have asked themselves; how do we make sure that people can build intelligent solutions on our platform – with ease? How do we make sure that people will experience a seamless transformation from public to private cloud?”.

A real need – artificial help
Returning to the talk on networks and artificial intelligence: “AI on top of your network is therefore also a talk on whether you are ready to use this technology”, Leif states. “Many believe that you need to be in a public cloud to operate AI, but this is not the actual reality of things – especially not with solutions like HPE’s making it possible to avoid the cloud by building your own solution from the very start. And by placing it on your own sites, on-prem”.
As soon as the infrastructure is in place, then you are ready to take advantage of the insight you can obtain from an AI-solution on your network, Leif explains. “Firewalls are spitting out logs about the traffic constantly, and you can seek some overview with Power BI and dashboards. But with AI you can create more advanced solutions to handle and to take advantage of these logs”. Leif underlines that we in Danoffice IT already are rolling out solutions like this to our clients, globally. “One example is one of our clients, a large global enterprise company with sites all over the world. Typically, we see a need for segregating all data on networks like that – and then assigning users to access specific parts of the network, all accordingly to their level of security clearance. In this case, there is a real need in the network administration, and here AI is a very big help. Or to put it straight-forward: You are doomed without it. Here, it is also worth mentioning that HPE is addressing the entire governance part too, so you are sure everything is aligned and compliant”.
Make the investment, now!
Organization wanting to use AI in their operations and production are facing all new demands for their networks – on two fronts: You need a network which can handle the data-heavy demands from AI in the production. And then you need AI to handle the new level of data generated on and from the very network.

From Vision to Value: AI in Action
The message is clear in terms of the prioritizations we are facing from the work with intelligent networks being the key to open up the next level of modern business operations: “If we are going this way on a strategic level, then we have to make the investment – now! If you want to be competitive in the future, then you need to act”.
At Danoffice IT, we’re not just talking about AI—we’re implementing it. Across industries and continents, we’ve helped organizations transform their operations by embedding AI into their network infrastructure. These aren’t future scenarios—they’re happening now.
