Danoffice IT has been a proud partner and sponsor for the annual NetHope Global Summits for many years. An event which is strengthening the operative premises for charitable NGOs all over the World to succeed in their work. Helping them to help others and create positive change. But the World is changing like never before, and it is in times of crises and challenges that relationships must show their strength. This was clear at NetHope 2025.

A platform for progress

“NetHope stands out from other technology- and sales events in the World”, says Frederik Holm, Key Account Manager in Danoffice IT, who was a part of our team with DELL Technologies at NetHope Global Summit in October 2025. “NetHope is a place where you meet in this sector to discuss actual challenges. Where the member organizations share and help each other and with partners like us. It is a platform for network and sharing which makes everyone stronger in the work on driving development, change and progress”, he says. And actual challenges are indeed present for the member organizations these days.

The biggest financial crisis

Strong Together: Charting the Path Forward. The slogan for NetHope 2025 is not coined out of nowhere. The mere concept of meeting and sharing on charting the way forward is essential, but in 2025 the concept of cooperating – to stand strong together – was in the highlight. “In Danoffice IT we have been a part of NetHope for many years, and this year was special. 2025 marked the biggest financial crisis in the sector, partly because the US has stopped its contributions. Thus, there is an enormous lack of resources into these organizations”, says Frederik Holm. “I am very proud that we did not cancel our presence, even though the resources are visibly less. We are there for the long-term relation and for the strong collaborations, even though things are currently moving against the NGOs. We are there because we wish to contribute so they can make a difference. We believe that with our services and DELL Technologies’ technology we can help them work smarter and thereby come out stronger from the funding-crisis”.

Actual solutions – actual value

For the participating organizations at NetHope it is essential to be met by partners, who can help them secure their global activities, and who can meet their current needs. Frederik tells that in 2025 it became very clear that the insight and expertise, which Danoffice IT has built for the last 30 years from working globally with numerous NGO’s, was a critical factor. “We can help them very effectively. In 2025 the organizations asked for actual solutions, and because we – together with a partner like DELL Technologies – are so specialized in this sector, we understand them. We speak their language, and they value that”.

For a long time, charitable organizations have been struggling with suppliers whose guidance has been insufficient due to lack of insight. Says Frederik: “In Danoffice IT we are a strong tech company, but with 30 years of heavy insights in this sector, we can also give them an

operational guidance that makes a difference. We can help them make the right decisions the first time, so that they do not spend their scarce resources the wrong way. The NetHope members need IT-solutions that are tailored exactly to their reality, so that every investment supports the mission and does not affect the budgets unnecessarily”.

Specialized IT-Problem Solvers

When an entire sector is now challenged, it does not take a whole lot, before the numbers go red. This especially goes for the daily operations, Frederik Holm tells. “When the resources are less and the number of global hotspots go up, then IT-infrastructure becomes a critical prerequisite for the organizations to create value where it is needed the most. The infrastructure should be running smoothly and securely, so that the organizations can act quickly, coordinate globally and deliver help without interruptions”.

“It is, though, highly complex to operate an infrastructure in organizations with vast a geographical spread and with structures that are very difference from those of private companies”, he says and continues, “When the NetHope members are liberated from this IT-headache, then time, energy, and resources are freed up, which helps them make a difference in the World. This is where we come in as a trusted advisor and take the complexity out of their hands. They need our experience and knowhow. Together with DELL Technologies we have deep insights and great knowhow on the way they operate. We know 100 % the challenges they face. Their IT-headaches are our specialization, and at NetHope we get to illustrate that and share what we know”.

A World of difference

“Before talking IT with a global NGO, then we are talking logistics. But even before talking logistics, then compliance is a major factor”, Frederik says. “At the core of our global platform, we have Danoffice IT’s compliance department – an asset which differentiates us on the global IT-map”, he says and elaborates: “By handling import control and compliance for the NetHope members we reduce risks, delays and insecurity – and the organizations can act faster in critical situations. This frees up a lot of resources for them, and right now, in particular, this makes a big difference in a sector under pressure”.

For 30 years, Danoffice IT has operated all over the World. Today we deliver to more than 185 countries, and we have one of the global IT-industry’s strongest logistics setups. A platform which is a critical factor in our work with global NGOs. “Our logistics is a significant differentiator. To the NetHope members, efficient logistics are crucial for the equipment to reach its destinations in time. When IT-solutions are delivered fast and securely – also to complex destinations – then the missions can be in effect when most needed. This is one of our specialties, and at NetHope it is a popular subject in our dialogues, since this is a heavy discipline to the organizations”.

Sustainable investments

Besides our participation at NetHope with our partner, DELL Technologies, we also brought our own DOIT Green as a part of our delegation. “DOIT Green is our global ITAD service where we help our clients make their used IT-equipment a part of their business while at the same

time helping them secure a more sustainable and greener IT-industry”, Frederik tells. This year our ITAD service was very much in the spotlight at NetHope. Partly, because the NGOs wish to move towards more sustainable operations, but also because the resources are currently less, so they want their investments to last longer. This also goes for IT-equipment”. The point here is, that an NGO can follow its equipment through the whole life cycle – and when it is no longer needed, they can get money back from the used gear. “They get a financial advantage which is aligned with their green strategies”, Frederik Holm states.

Stronger relations

For collaborations and good relations to be challenged in troubled times is historically well-known. It creates uncertainty and new types of movements when crises hit, and here it is all about standing strong. Says Frederik: “Investments versus funding has made the whole IT-market towards the NGOs fragile. But in Danoffice IT we have not wavered – we are still here! We know how we can help them in this current market”. At NetHope 2025 the concept of getting stronger through challenge also became clear. “We witnessed our relations in this sector getting visibly stronger. There was a strong will to look forward and to get through this together. I am proud that we supported this community when it was hardest. Therefore, we will also return again in 2026 – now is the time to act”, concludes Frederik Holm, Key Account Manager in Danoffice IT.
