Diversity strengthens us—both as a workplace and as an industry. Through ''Women in Danoffice IT, we highlight the women who help drive progress at Danoffice IT and across the IT sector. Their stories reflect dedication, curiosity, and ambition—and they serve as inspiration for future generations of talent.

But this initiative is not only about individual stories. It is rooted in one of our five ESG goals toward 2030: to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within our organization and our industry. Today, women make up 30% of our workforce and 18% of our leadership team.
By 2030, our ambition is clear: At least 40% women across Danoffice IT—including in leadership.

Why Is A Well-Balanced Gender Distribution Important?

Multiple studies show that a balanced gender distribution strengthens a company’s culture, decision-making, and ability to innovate. It also helps attract and retain skilled employees.
Research further suggests that companies with more equal gender representation at management level often perform better financially. Diverse teams tend to achieve:

  • Higher profitability
  • More efficient use of resources
  • Broader perspectives that spark new ideas and solutions
  • Stronger innovation and creativity

When both men and women are represented, they bring different experiences, ways of thinking, and strengths. This diversity is an essential advantage in a competitive and fast-moving market.

Researches has consistently shown that companies with strong gender diversity in leadership are significantly more likely to outperform their peers financially.

Similarly, multiple studies highlight that organizations with diverse teams make faster, better-quality decisions and demonstrate higher levels of innovation and problem‑solving.

How Can We Attract More Women Into The IT industry — And Into Danoffice IT?

We always aim to hire the right people with the right qualifications for each role—not because of gender, age, ethnicity, or any other characteristic. However, the reality is that the IT sector overall continues to face a significant gender imbalance. This naturally affects how many women apply for roles at Danoffice IT.
That is why we are strengthening our focus on women in IT: to help make the industry more appealing to women—and to make Danoffice IT an even more attractive workplace for female talent.

As part of this effort, we support the IT industry campaign “My Path to IT”, which aims to increase the number of women and promote more diversity across the sector. The campaign showcases the wide variety of roles, career paths, and inspiring women in the field. It also helps to break the misconception that IT is “just” coding and technical roles. Working in IT means contributing to solutions that shape the future, playing a meaningful role in society, and entering an industry with many different pathways and opportunities.
